When my brain, my heart, my eyes blew up.
There have been a few news events that left a scar on my soul, I hurt every time, for one reason or another.
This my attempt at letting them go.
How many times have we reached out to the moon?
Well… she’s a bit tired of us all!
I had the idea for this one evening, coming home under a big full moon.
Walking the city alone at night has always been inspiring for me.
Travelling within five different inter-personal stages:
Signals – we receive them all the time, we can listen to them, or ignore.
Contact – the one we are always looking for.
Conflicts – that cannot be avoided no matter how hard we try.
Exploration – of ourselves and the others, it keeps us alive
Realisation – where it all comes together.
These animations have been produced using the incredible ESO archive of pictures*

Elation on the surface as a good excuse for depth avoidance.
This ongoing NFT series investigates the feeling we have when we are pushed to ‘go deeper’ by circumstances (or people) and we’d really, really, rather not.
Fresh Snow I, II and III are the clearest representation of the idea of gliding over the surface.
Clear Water I is when we get caught by surprise, we know, but we don’t even want to look.
Clear Water II is trying to ignore one of our basic needs.
Clear Water III is superficial awareness, we look at what troubles us, but then we consciously decide to look elsewhere.
